Life of the Party is possibly the best example of level design of any game. Any flaws can be traced back to the fact that the Dark Engine is a gigantic piece of shit.

Pretty mediocre shooter overall. Atmospheric moments ruined by poorly voiced chatterbox NPCs. The graphics are fantastic, so why do they constantly obscure them with ugly filters (e.g. gasmask vision)
