FarCry was impressive for a number of reasons. Unprecedented level sizes, lighting, and physics came together to form a brilliant tech demo. Gameplay and story delivery, however, were lacking.

Fantastic for its time. Graphics that some games are only just now introducing and gameplay that out-does most games of today. Only problem was the hit-boxes. Other than that, storyline was fantastic.

This game provided some incredible landscapes and graphics, that are still up to date. But story was a bit confusing and those "surprise" enemies were just too strong and repetitive.

Cool graphics at it's time, but i wanted to go Far away and Cry after finishing it. Sucky (i'd rather say awful) story, annoying ending, unsatisfying combat style. Not "aggressive" enough for me

Fantastic FPS, better than both FC2 and Crysis in gameplay terms. Graphics-wise it can hold it's own too. The only issue I had is that the story gets a bit iffy later in the game. Still, a must buy.
