Gameplay is amazing, as if the default game modes weren't good, there is plenty of mods that make it so epic. No complains about the Source engine... And now with stats (OMFG!) and achievements!

The game improves over the original on 3D muscle only. The real issues that desperately needed fixing are still there and HLTV as well as some of the gameplay quality got lost in translation...

While often viewed as having inferior gameplay to the original Counter-Strike, Source actually makes a good compromise between the hardcore 1.6 and more general gameplay, making a very popular title.

Counter-Strike: Source is one of my favorite games. The source engine makes it extremely well built, and the art aswell. As for gameplay, it's very competitive, but easy to learn. This is a thumbs up!

Renewed Counter-Strike, but still suffers from public matches as with all multiplayer games. The multitude of community-created modifications for the game can give something new to look for.
